Only a wahoo would understand
It's so difficult to express my love for Charlottesville and UVA. There is just something absolutely magical about it that touches my heart when I enter, and brings me to tears when I leave. The fall, especially, is an absolutely gorgeous time in the 'ville.
The soft breeze that rustles through the auburn, red and gold leaves is soothing, the winding-hilly roads calming, and the starfilled night sky ... breathtaking. Of course, everything is more gorgeous during Ramadan (I'm convinced of it) - but generally everything is more beautiful in the 'ville.
Coherent thinking is beyond me right now ... just wanted to try to articulate my love for Charlottesvile. I think I failed miserably, but perhaps thats the point -- you gotta be a wahoo to understand. Although, I do wish that I had the ability to convey what magic Charlottesville holds, and what makes me never want to leave. I used to think it was the people - but I realized today that I could walk around grounds - not know anyone, and still be utterly content at Mr. Jefferson's University.
