a snow prompted post ...

its snowing! my first real Pittsburgh snowfall - sucks that I'm cooped up studying though! Stepped out for a few minutes to check it out ... oddly enough, I always forget how awesome the first snowfall can be ... the temperature's perfect, the soft flakes are falling fast and coating the ground w/a clean layer of white-ness. The timing couldn't be worse, but I have to say its nice to look out the window and watch the snow fall ... its kinda relaxing!

The snow prompted me to think about taking pictures, but my camera's not at hand - and anyhoo, I'm thinking more about taking real pictures. I've been thinking alot about reverting back to film for a while - unfortunately, I can't afford that right now! Its really weird - but all day I've had photography on my mind ... I was listening to an interview w/a photographer this morning as I was getting prepped for the day, in the library there was an entire display of books on photography, the NY times is talking alot about the latest generation of digital cameras, and now the snow has prompted me to think about it again ...

Well, in two weeks I'll have alot of time to think about it! Right now I need to think about Pennoyer, Asahi, Gasperini and oh yeah, Erie!!!!!

BTW - AM SO EXCITED ABOUT BREAK!!!!!!!!!! ok, back to work.
