Real Repercussions of the Downturn ...

AR's car was broken into on Friday; thankfully she and Hibz had kept their purses, but another friend had her stuff stolen - "stuff" includes: designer bag, iphone, digital camera, wallet with credit cards and drivers license, etc, etc, etc. The car behind them was also raided - and the thieves got away with another loot.

Fast forward to Saturday evening. AR and I were at the outlet mall, and we pass by Wilson's leather, and see these REALLY weirdly dressed guys walking out. I just thought they were weirdly dressed, but after we walked past them AR was like -did you see those guys? And I was like, yeah, they looked like a bunch of clowns. And she's like - did you hear them? And I hadn't - but we quickly realized that the two guys has basically put on several jackets and caps and walked out. The jackets still had the tags on them.*

Yes - its holiday season, the economy is going bust, there's a higher likelihood that crime is going to go up.

*Why didn't we report them? By the time we figured out what was going on, they were long gone. But - yes, we should have reported them even though we would not have been able to ID them since they were wearing hats and glasses.
