Returning to the basics
I'm back.
Maybe.
I used to consider myself a blogger - one who commented on everyday things and made them sound interesting. Molded words to change the ordinary day, the ordinary event into one that was worth reliving. I had things to say, and this was my soap box.
Somewhere in between, however, I lost steam. I'd like to say that I decided that screaming from a soapbox into empty space wasn't good enough and that I decided to do something. I'd like to say that I stopped writing aimlessly and pursued a loftier goal. I'd like to say that I had made something of the bits and pieces that I that I had pulled together a tapestry of words and actions.
Sadly, it was none of those things.
I was probably overwhelmed and under-motivated. And looking too hard for something that wasn't there.
But now, I'm back. And I'm going to say what I mean, and mean what I say ... would you have it any other way? :-D
