a trip to city ...

A lil' bit of history - Bangalore, back when 'dem British peoples were around, was divided into "Bangalore City" and "Bangalore Cantonment". The Britishers and their workers [bussed in from Tamil Nadu no less] lived in the Cantonment, along with most of non-natives [such as the Ali Mohammeds], and the natives lived in the City area.
Mom and I went to City to buy bandhini for the mehendi next week ... sometimes I wonder what I've gotten myself into - I've taken responsibility for decorating. Will keep you posted on how things roll :)
