Home Sweet Home
Everything seems smaller. Even Pasha!!!!
I just got in, its 2.18am local time. Am wide awake, even though I only slept for bits and pieces. It felt like forever, but alhamdullilah I'm home now. Funny, alot has changed, but alot hasn't. I've kept a visual image in my head of Bangalore, and although there's the random new building and the random unfinished construction, it all still fits. The house is still the same, everything's where it should be ... a little empty, but a couple of phone calls should fix that :-)
Honestly though - everything does seem smaller - my bed seems lower, the stairs seem easier to climb ... maybe I've grown? hm, this sounds like my issue with shirt sleeves ...
Anyhoo, theres a bunch of things I need to do -- namely calling people and figuring out how I'm going to spend my time wisely, settle in, figure out how to surprise people :-) the usual...
So, just checking in -- OH btw, the "Muslim" meal on Lufthansa's not half bad - I've heard horror stories, but I was pleasantly surprised! So much so that I didn't eat mom's Kaati roll and string cheese :-)
AIM is 90% installed, so inshaAllah I'll be on IM soon enough ... peace, love ... and basketball!!
